Chorustr gives your singers a focused way to practise between rehearsals, and gives you control over what they see. It isn’t trying to run your choir.
Your repertoire
Everything in one place. Only what you choose goes out.
Keep every song you might use together in your repertoire, and use the Practicing switches to choose what your choir works on right now.
You can also let members browse the full repertoire, and have new songs added to the practicing list automatically. Both are settings you choose.
Your content
Practice material stays inside your choir.
Choose how members get access. With an invite code, they join once. With rehearsal check-in, members keep access for a number of days after each check-in (60 unless you change it), so the people who come to rehearsal are the people who have the music.
Print and export permissions are set separately for lyrics, scores, cheat sheets and notes. They are all off until you switch them on.
Members are asked to check in again when their access runs out, and they get it back as soon as they do.
Rehearsal check-in
A scan as they arrive. Attendance as a result.
Show your choir’s own welcome screen at rehearsal. Singers scan the code on their phones as they arrive, and they’re checked in. A new singer can use the same scan to get Chorustr, join your choir and check in.
In rehearsal check-in mode, a Rehearsals page lists each rehearsal and who checked in, so attendance is there when you need it without a register.
Events
Know who is coming, and whether your sections are covered.
Add a concert or event with its date, place and set list. Members reply from the app, and can go straight from the set list into practice.
You see who is going, who might, who can’t and who hasn’t replied, for the whole choir and for each of Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass, so you can tell whether a section is short before the day. You can export the responses as a spreadsheet.
And your singers get a better way to practise.
Everything above sits behind a simple app for your members: their part, their mix, loops, lyrics and score.
